Do something good for yourself and for others this December!
Julechallenge is a Christmas calendar that challenges you to move in December. Every day from December 1st to 24th, we open a new door that tells you how many kilometers you should move that day. You can choose between 4 different challenges with different numbers of kilometers. How you complete each door is up to you. You can walk, jog, run, ski, cycle, be outside or inside on a treadmill – it's completely up to you!

Registration
Of course you can! Bring your whole office, family and friends to join the Christmas Challenge. Participate as a team and motivate each other to move and be active for a good cause throughout December!
If you are registered as a team, you can, among other things, look up your own results list with the team's participants, so there is room for many internal competitions and fun! Who has completed the most doors? Who was the fastest at yesterday's door?
How to create teams
Companies and other groups can register collectively by creating a team on our registration page . When creating a team, those who wish to participate in the team register through a separate portal for their team registration, or via our registration page . You can decide for yourself whether each participant should pay for themselves when they register, or whether you want to pay collectively by invoice. You choose this when you create the team.
To create a team, click "Create team" on our registration page. The person who creates the team becomes the team leader, and gets access to a team leader portal where you have an overview of everyone who is registered for the team.
There are no limits to how many team members you can have, and you can sign up for all of our different challenges within each team.
Invoice If your team chooses to pay in full by invoice, we will send out invoices after December 10th and December 27th 2025.
When paying by invoice, the team leader is responsible for informing the team about additional services such as medals can be added to the registration or whether the participant will have to pay for this themselves. If the participant will have to pay for this themselves, they must add this on "my page", after they have registered.
Binding registration
Each individual registration for the team is binding and will not be refunded if anyone withdraws.

Log your session using a smartphone, smartwatch, heart rate monitor, or activity tracker that supports session logging. Then, register your session to confirm that you have participated in today's door. Read more about how to register your session under "How do I complete a challenge?".
Don't want to register the time of your session? You can register the door as "finished" without a time. Read more about the different options for registering your sessions under "How do I register my sessions?"
For every door you register, you are entered into a drawing for great prizes from our partners and contributors. If you complete and register over 15 of 24 doors, you are entered into a drawing for the completely awesome prize pool. Read more about the prizes under "Prize Pool".
These are the four Christmas challenges you can choose from. No matter which challenge you choose, the doors will contain a nice mix of shorter and longer sessions.
70 km If you sign up for 70 km, you will have doors containing 1 to 4 kilometers per day. This means that the doors can contain 1, 2, 3 or 4 kilometers that you will move that day. In total, it will be 70 km if you complete all the doors you open from December 1 to 24.
100 km If you sign up for 100 km, you will receive doors containing 2 to 6 kilometers per day. This means that the doors can contain 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 kilometers that you will move that day. In total, it will be 100 km if you complete all the doors you open from December 1 to 24.
150 km If you sign up for 150 km, you will receive doors that contain 4 to 10 km per day. This means that the doors can contain anything from 4 to 10 kilometers. But 4 is the shortest and 10 is the longest a slot can contain. In total, it will be 150 km if you complete all the doors you open from December 1 to 24.
200 km If you sign up for 200 km, you will receive doors that contain anything from 6 to 21 km per day. This means that the doors can contain anything from 6 to 21 kilometers, but 6 is the shortest and 21 is the longest a doors can contain. In total, it will be 200 km if you complete all the doors you open from December 1 to 24. We can reveal that there is only one doors that contains 21 km, but we won't say when it comes! 😉
How to finish a door/session:
Every day we open a new door in the calendar!
You can find the doors on " my page ". Click on "your Christmas calendar" and you will see the entire calendar. A closed door has a ribbon on it, an open door has no ribbon. The door for the next day will be available at 20:00, so you have the opportunity to plan a little how you will carry out the door the following day.
The draw must be completed on the date it applies to, and you must register your session before 11:59 PM on the applicable date to be entered into the draw for today's prize.
Start the session on your chosen device and complete the distance in today's door.
You must time/log your session yourself. You can do this using a smartphone, smartwatch or activity tracker that supports session logging. This will become your personal "virtual timer". You can also register at the sessions without entering a time, see more information further down the page.
Breaks?
Do you have a device that records breaks? While your device may record breaks you take throughout your session, our timing system does not! It measures the total time of the session, from start to finish.
Ending and recording the session
Once you have completed the number of kilometers required for today's door, stop the session and save it to your device. Then go to "my page" and "your advent calendar" to register your session.
You can also register your time manually, and if you simply do not want to register your time, you can choose to register finished without a time.
Read all about how to register your sessions HERE.
Will my session be visible to others?
You choose whether you want to register your time on the doors you complete. If you choose to register with time, others will see your time in the results list.
Do I have to register my time?
No, you don't have to. If you don't want to register your time, you can register as "Finished" without a time.
Prize draw
For every door you register, you are entered into the draw for today's prize. If you complete 15 out of 24 doors, you are also entered into the main draw for December 24th! So here, all you have to do is complete as many doors as you can!
Of course you can! Then you just add up the timing of the sessions you have completed to reach the goal for today's door, and register the total time of your door using the "manual time" alternativ. If you do not want to enter a time for your sessions, you can register as completed without entering a time.
You will not be able to use any of the other options for recording time, as it is not possible to merge two or more logged sessions into one session.
But no worries - if you complete the doors this way, you are still included in the prize draws. Just remember to register your entry before 23:59 on the same day!

To be entered into the prize draw, you must register your sessions to confirm that you have attended the doors in the calendar. You are of course welcome to sign up for the calendar without registering your sessions, as you will still be participating and supporting a good cause!
You choose whether you want to register your session with or without a time. If you register with a time, others can see your time in the results list.
Is the total number of kilometers in your session shorter or longer than the door required?
For your time to be real, you must complete the number of kilometers required by the time limit.
If you have moved further than the door requires, it's fine, the system will cut the session at the correct number of kilometers.
If the session is shorter than the door requires, our system will calculate an average time based on the total of your session, and therefore you will not receive your real time.
Do you want a real medal?
If you want, you can treat yourself to a beautiful glass medal as a prize for your efforts in this year's Christmas Challenge! And if you don't want to wear it around your neck, you can hang it on the Christmas tree, as ribbons are included for both!
You order the medal when you register, or you can order it afterwards on " My page ". We will send you the medal by post. It costs 250 NOK if you live in Norway. If you live outside Norway, there will be an additional fee for postage abroad.
If you want to receive the medal before Christmas, you must order it by December 14th. (We cannot guarantee this for posting outside of Norway).
